Massage History


Healing by touch has been practiced in many civilizations for over 5000 years.  From Egypt, Rome, India, China massage has been one of the original forms of holistic medicine.  Massage:

  • assists the body and mind to produce endorphins, which are the body’s natural pain relievers
  •  It normalizes blood pressure
  •  reduces the output of adrenaline which can cause anxiety and stress
  • slows down rapid breathing
  •  increases circulation which promoted healing
  •  helps your Lymph ( a bodily fluid that absorbs toxins and fights disease) move  junk out of your system.
